Understanding the Cost of Therapy
We understand that cost and insurance can feel confusing or overwhelming. Our goal is to make this process as clear and straightforward as possible so you can focus on getting the support you need.
If you’re looking for a therapist in New Lenox or surrounding suburbs of Chicago, our team is happy to help you verify your insurance benefits and answer any questions before getting started, so you know what to expect.
Insurance
First Response Therapy PLLC is currently in-network with:
Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO
Aetna
United Healthcare
If you plan to use insurance, your out-of-pocket cost will depend on your specific plan, including your deductible, copay, or coinsurance.
If you’re unsure about your coverage, we can help you understand your benefits before your first session.
If you cancel, no-show, or reschedule less than 24 hours before your scheduled session, you will be charged a fee of $100.
What You Can Expect Cost-Wise
If you’re using insurance, you may be responsible for:
A copay per session
Meeting your deductible before coverage begins
A percentage of the session cost (coinsurance)
If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement depending on your plan. We can provide a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
We’re here to help you navigate these details so there are no surprises.
We accept major credit/debit cards and HSA/FSA payments. If you are uninsured or paying out-of‑pocket, a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs is available upon request.
Private Pay Rates
If you are not using insurance, our self-pay rates are:
Initial Intake Session: $175
Ongoing Therapy Sessions: $150
Payment is due at the time of service. All services are confidential and provided in a private, secure setting.
