Meet Jessica, lcpc, cfrc, CCTP, crc

Clinical Director, Therapist, & Practice Owner

I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Roosevelt University in Chicago, where my path into counseling began. My early work focused on one-on-one career development with college students, followed by a practicum at an intensive outpatient (IOP) program supporting individuals facing addiction. I later worked in vocational rehabilitation counseling, which expanded my understanding of purpose, identity, and navigating significant life transitions. These experiences ultimately led me to private practice for the past five years, where I discovered a strong passion for trauma work and supporting first responders.

Outside of the therapy office, I’m married to a firefighter and am raising a bold, spirited toddler who keeps life full and busy in the best way. Our family also includes two energetic (and very sweet) dogs who keep us laughing and on our toes. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, getting absorbed in a good book or podcast, and slowing down to be present with my family. These moments of connection, balance, and everyday life are grounding for me and deeply influence the way I show up both personally and professionally.

Meet Caroline, lPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Law from Marquette University and my master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including an inpatient psychiatric facility, private practice, and currently at the Cook County Sheriff’s Office. In private practice, I worked with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, careers, and diagnoses, which strengthened my ability to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. These experiences have shaped my compassionate, down-to-earth approach to therapy and my understanding of how stress and trauma can impact daily life. Through this work—particularly in law enforcement settings—I’ve developed a deep respect for first responders and the unique challenges they and their families face.

Outside of work, I live with my partner, who is a firefighter and paramedic, and we like to unwind from our shifts by watching an intense TV show or a comical movie. I love getting lost in reality television, getting creative with home décor, playing golf with my family during the summer, and diving into my favorite podcasts. I also adore my 2 year old niece and brings so much light into my life. These are just a couple ways that have helped me maintain a work-life balance that allows me to show up and be my best self for clients and colleagues.

Our team is growing! We’re actively hiring and look forward to welcoming additional clinicians to our practice—check back soon to meet new team members.
